Archena City Council, through the Department of Finance, will urge the National Government to simultaneously with the reform of regional financing and under negotiation with the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, present the Government's reform local and the new funding model.
In addition, mechanisms must arbitrate for the Federation of Municipalities participating in the Council of Fiscal and Financial Policy.
The incumbent municipal archenero of Finance, Pedro Jose Martinez, said that by 2004 it became apparent the urgent need to develop and adopt a new law on Local Government and the adequacy of funding in accordance with the powers assumed and that new model of financing of local authorities will be made urgently and silmultánea, "and from then until now, these demands have been ignored by the Prime Minister of Spain, Rodriguez Zapatero."
Pedro Jose Martinez of Spain requires the Government to meet those promises, "because this prevents that from the Socialist government is trying to make 'a suit' for each of the Autonomous Communities and save acquired territorial commitments on funding" .
