l City of Murcia has joined the three days of official mourning decreed by the Government of Spain following the death yesterday in Madrid the first President of democracy in Spain, Adolfo Suárez.

Therefore, from the early hours this morning all the town hall flags flying at half mast.

The Official Gazette published the Royal Decree Monday "for which declares official mourning for the death of His Excellency Adolfo Suárez González, Prime Minister and Duke of Suárez."

"It is declared official mourning from 0 hours of March 24 to 24 hours on 26 March, during which the national flag will fly at half mast at all public buildings and ships of the Navy."
