Following the preparation and organization of Program Acts of the celebration the 550th anniversary of the signing of the Charter of Population Murcia, the September 11, 1462, last night on the town chronicler and historian Manuel Enrique Medina Turner spoke a talk Illustrative of this point in the history of Archena.

Attended by representatives from groups, associations and the Moors and Christians celebrations Archena.

It was from reporting on the historical fact of the founding of the town of Murcia, which will be commemorated starting next September.

The event was presented by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Magdalena Ortiz.

Archena City Council along with all the local associations and federations is putting together a comprehensive program of events to celebrate 550 years of this important historic signing for Archena.

The program will begin on September 8 next to the Gold Medals Presentation of the two oldest Archena Ditches and a tribute to the mayors of the town of the past 100 years, and will end in October 2013.
