Archena Socialist Youth launched a solidarity campaign to mark the International Day of Human Rights which has called for the solidarity of the archeneros and that no child archeneras / a lack of a Christmas gift.
The objective of this campaign, to be held between 10 and 30 December, is to collect as many toys as possible, new or like-new, so that no child is left without Archena toy on dates as that lie ahead.
Under the slogan "A great smile" is to collect new or like-new toys to bring a smile to those little / as suffering particularly the precarious economic situation of Murcia, in order to "help those most in need of our location on dates designated as holidays, "as explained by Mireia Ruiz, Secretary General of Socialist Youth of Archena.
With this campaign Archena Socialist Youth will work with Red Cross-Valle de Ricote Archena to carry out this initiative because they believe that the Red Cross as well as other organizations and associations of Murcia, is developing a great work of solidarity and humanity, and has logistics, information and appropriate staff to deliver these toys to those families most in need.
"From the Socialist Youth of Archena are committed to meet all of those toys that Archena neighbors are encouraged to give to this worthy cause, and forward them to the neediest households," said Mireia Ruiz, Secretary General of Socialist Youth Archena.
Toys, new or pre-owned, are to be deposited in public of local primary education and municipal nursery "Colorines" of 12 to 20 December.
Thereafter, 21 to December 30, are to be deposited at the headquarters of the PSOE in Archena.
