| The point where the independence of the judiciary was requested was more controversial as it was approved only with the votes in favor of the Popular Party | The plenary session of the Archena City Council approved yesterday unanimously by the three political groups PP, PSOE and Mixed Group to show support for the fireworks sector, also severely punished by the health crisis caused by COVID19, as neither parties nor parties could be held.

Likewise, the three municipal political groups supported a joint motion on the rejection of gender violence, this week when the International Day against this type of violence was commemorated. The proposal of the Popular Group also went ahead in another motion regarding the request to the Government of the Nation for the discount of 100% of the taxes on hoteliers, as has been done by the City Council of Archena, being rejected by the socialist group . Another important point of the municipal plenary session was the request of the PP to urge the Government of the Nation to respect and defend the constitutional order established in the Supreme Norm of the Spanish Legal System. Finally, the Popular Municipal Group requested the Spanish Government to withdraw the proposal to modify the Organic Law of the Judiciary in order to guarantee its independence.
