| The former civil guard, the only person who died of a coronavirus in Archena, served 42 years in the municipality | The municipal plenary session of Archena has approved, among other matters, the initiation of an official appointment file and posthumously the former civil guard Julián Sánchez Sánchez, who died in March of the Covid-19 virus.
Archena already paid tribute to him with a funeral mass, days ago, in the Parish Church of San Juan Bautista.
"Archena has suffered a great loss.
Julián was loved by all the people and we will be eternally grateful to him for 42 years of service as a civil guard in the municipality," said Patricia Fernández. The Autonomous Community of the Region also organized an emotional act where it paid tribute to Julián Sánchez, along with the rest of the deceased from the same cause in the Region.
Act attended by his relatives, the Regional President and the Mayor of Archena, among many other authorities.
