The Special Municipal Commission for the Coordination of Coronavirus Prevention, chaired by the Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernández, and composed of municipal technicians, health professionals from the Health Center, local police, church and councilors, has reconvened this morning to continue with the permanent monitoring in the municipality of this pandemic.
The last agreements adopted have been the following:
A -112- Emergencies should only be called when the consultation is truly a sanitary emergency;
When the case is symptomatic or another need, dial 900 12 12 12. The professionals of the Health Center will work as far as possible by telephone for chronic and not so specific cases.
The aim is to avoid collapse in the Health Center and thus be able to attend to real urgent cases with guarantees.
On the other hand, two essential recommendations will be offered to the population: -to stay at home and only go out in situations of need, and avoid going to events that accumulate a certain number of people
As an exceptional measure, the Special Municipal Commission for the Coordination of Coronavirus Prevention has agreed to access the Archena Food Market only on a very restrictive basis.
The next meetings of this special municipal commission will be held by teleconference through computerized means, the first municipal councilor has assured, in order to avoid these group meetings as well.
In the City Council, starting Monday, each municipal department will have a telephone number for external consultations and various information, thus ruling out crowding of citizens in municipal buildings.
According to sources from the Archena Health Center, there is no record in these offices, until this morning, of anyone affected by this virus.
