With a parade of all the groups of Moors and Christians and a meal of conviviality at the Municipal Summer Cinema, the events of the Mid-Year Celebration of the festivities of Moors and Christians, which this weekend have taken place in Archena
Yesterday Sunday was the day of the three days of celebrations of this Ecuador of the party, with more participation and people attending.
On Saturday night the traditional medieval dinner of kábilas and mesnadas took place and where the best capes of the 2019 parade were awarded, which were Francisco López, of Almohades, and Rufi Atenza, of the same kábila as the previous one, and better group Moor, Jaira, and Christian, Catholic Monarchs.
On Friday, after the inauguration of the medieval street market, which remained three days in the 1Âş de Mayo square, the election of the Festival of the Year took place, which fell, in adults, in Antonio Fernández, and children, in Iván Verdú, de Reyes Catholics and Mudejars, respectively.
The poster that will illustrate the upcoming Moors and Christians parties of Corpus was also discovered in June 2020. It is a drawing that was the first prize of the painting contest, called 'Parade and Stop' by Felicidad Ibáńez.
