Councillor for Equality, Rosario Navarro, and Alderman of Public Safety, José Pedro Martínez, opened this morning at the Center for Women training seminar "Preventing violence: keys and tools."
This training day was aimed at professionals who work directly with women victims of violence, as local police, workers in the Commonwealth of Social Services, Technical Centre for Women and CAVI Center professionals.
The course was organized by the Department of Equal Opportunities, in collaboration with the Social Work of the CAM.
Councillor for Equality, Rosario Navarro, said that "it is very important that all services providing care to women victims of violence are well coordinated and trained in order to be able to respond quickly and effectively to an abusive situation."
The course lasted 5 hours, which have been handed tools and skills to identify the key risk indicators, the forms of the disease and early detection of forms of abuse.
