The Iron Bridge, the main access to the poblción Archena is now completely remodeled and reopened to traffic of all vehicles, after the refurbishment, mainly paved.
The Iron Bridge Road Archena has been completely paved, after a hard day of work.
The main reason for its renewal has been the safety of about 3,000 vehicles that travel daily on this stretch, as it is the main entrance to the village.
According to José Carlos González Cano, Head of the construction company Acciona Agua in Murcia in charge of making the tarmac, the work has been to "lift the old pavement and add a new layer of bearing two inches thick."
In total is paved about 120 meters long by 4.5 wide having the road, thanks to a grant of 6,000 euros provided by the Highways Agency of the Autonomous Community.
