For the second consecutive year, the City Council Higher Archena Brotherhoods of Solidarity organized pantry.

The campaign of starting with a contribution of 2,200 kilos of food for different Brotherhoods and the Chapter itself Guilds Higher Archena.

Will take place between 15 November and 17 December.

The City Council at its regular meeting Oct. 25 agreed to undertake a campaign to collect necessary basic food goods (oil, rice, milk, pasta, sugar, canned goods, etc.) In order to help alleviate the current precarious situation of many families in this town.

This initiative is born with the name "Solidarity Pantry."

In principle this Pantry Solidarity has already guaranteed a minimum of food, as each Guild has agreed to contribute from their respective Boards of Directors or Government 100 kilos, another 100 kilos to be provided by the brothers to the various guilds, as well 100 others will donate Guilds Higher Cabildo itself, which is part of an initial collection point for the campaign of 2300 kilos.

It also aims to involve local Schools, Religious, cultural, political, etc.

It must be said that this season can also bring warm clothing (blankets, sheets, etc.).

It is very important to note here that everything collected will be delivered directly to Caritas Archena, where you take care of getting food to those most needy of people, and always with a careful study of census of potential recipients of aid.

To proceed with the collection of food the Higher council Archena Guilds have set up collection points, in particular keep open the headquarters of Superior City Council of Guilds (located in the Segura River Avenue, near the sports center) and rooms parish church of San Juan Bautista and Corpus Christi - La Purisima.

The collection schedule will be Monday through Friday from 18:30 to 20:00 hours, starting this season on November 15 and ending on 17 December.

Under the slogan "With a bit of you, much to them," the council Guilds Higher Archena wants to encourage participation in this initiative, thus setting an example of generosity and solidarity with our neighbors that these days are having serious difficulty situations economic, especially aggravated by the economic crisis we are living for longer dates.
