Hired 35 unemployed agricultural workers to carry out various works to repair roads and ecotourism trails (04/12/2017)

A few days ago, the works entitled 'Clearing and repairing several rural roads and treatment of run-off and repair of ecotourism trails in Monte Ope' and 'Action for the environmental improvement of several degraded areas and several rural roads in Archena' began. to the Program of Promotion of Agrarian Employment, "SEPE-COMARCALES JOB SUCCESS".

It is a Program of collaboration of the Public State Employment Service with Local Corporations, for the hiring of agricultural unemployed workers in the performance of works and services of general and social interest, whose total salary cost is financed by the Public Employment Service State.

In order to carry out the works, 35 unemployed agricultural workers of the Municipality have been hired throughout the day and the duration is 3 months.

During this period, it will be carried out the cleaning of the washed lands and the clearing of shrubs and bushes in several rural roads of the municipality and branches of trees that interfere with the transit of farmers and pedestrians will be cut.

The ecotourism trails of the municipality, especially those of Monte Ope, will also be screened.

In this mountain a series of runoff water stops or specks will be made in order that the mud that drains does not reach the streets of the urban area.

It will proceed, in addition, to the recovery and conservation of several degraded forest areas, which will consist of felling of dry trees, treatments against processionary, removal of garbage and inert materials to landfill, planting, irrigation by hand of some plants of resistance to drought of the area and elimination and burning of stubble in order to avoid possible fires and improve the healthiness of these depressed areas of the municipality.

In two of the most emblematic waterwheels of the municipality will be put into value, eliminating stubble, painting banks and removing graffiti, among others, creating a walkable environment for its visitors.
