The Afammer Association has awarded the "Prize to rural women of the year 2018" in its XII edition to the archenera Ana María Zambudio, manager of his company DISTRIBUCIONES ECOLÓGICAS SL.

The award recognizes women who, having contributed innovations applied to the farm or created an innovative company within the rural sphere, develop their professional activity in the Region of Murcia.
The award ceremony will be on October 15, International Day of Rural Women, during the development of the Conference: RURAL WOMEN: ACTOR OF THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY, to be held in Puerto Lumbreras.
AFAMMER recognizes in this prize the work of a woman who stands out in an eminent way in the labor, professional and economic field, distinguishing herself for contributing to the economic growth of the population and also in the social and labor field of her municipality and the Region of Murcia .
Ana María Zambudio Ortiz has played an important role in the business sector at the regional and municipal level, promoting economic growth and employment, through the development of her business projects in the activity of food products elaboration especially of ecological line in her company DISTRIBUTIONS ECOLOGICAL SL.
Dedicated to making juices, jams, gazpachos, infusions, or any other product that enters into this line has been expanding and developing new ideas within the R & D department, creating new companies such as ECOSANA, always committed to the development of new Ideas has fostered and continues to promote employment.
The award is a unique piece donated by the cartagenera sculptor MAITE DEFRUC specially designed for the award.
