The Board of Local Government of the City of Archena approved on August 6, the record of maintenance works in playgrounds of Archena, amounting to 38,570.17 euros.
With these works, more than a dozen playgrounds distributed by different parks and gardens of the municipality, as well as by the hamlet of La Algaida and the neighborhoods of the town, will see their current facilities improved.
According to the Mayor of Archena, Patricia Fernandez, "the maintenance of playgrounds is a very important task, both to ensure the safety of children and to prolong the life of the equipment and playgrounds that make up these areas."
These works, depending on the state of the areas, will consist of carrying out urban maintenance work, placement of protections and anti-slip flooring, painting of games, removal of graffiti, etc., all in order to maintain and improve the existing facilities for the enjoyment of the little ones
